Kwajalein School Age Services is a before and after school program open to any children, grades 1 -6, that are registered with the island’s Child and Youth Services. Open from 7:15 - 8:20 in the morning and 3:20 - 4:30 in the afternoon, the Kwaj Kids Club offers a number of activities in accordance with Army Regulations that include but are not limited to: 4-H, Character Counts!, Boys and Girls Club, Promise Passport (volunteer work), Power Hour (homework help and technology lessons) and Up for the Challenge (healthy living). As a child interest driven program, lesson plans focusing on the areas of Sports and Fitness, Life Skills and Leadership, Leisure and Recreation, and Intervention and Support are developed through direct communication between the children and program leads.  

In addition to providing services during the typical workday, School Age Services also offers weekly night time Open Recreation for interested youth. Some of the typical offerings include movie nights, craft nights, cooking nights, sports days, technology nights, and scavenger hunts.
